The African Festival of the Arts is one of Chicago's best! It's a delightful festival with authenic African and Carribean food vendors, a splendid shopping mecca for some of the most breathtakingly beautiful art work, jewelry, clothing, music books and one thing I truly love, fresh, natural shea butter, the real stuff direct from Africa. This event takes place on Chicago's Southside, in Washington Park near Hyde Park, the home of our President.
